Well, "HI" everyone, good news !!
We have started getting a Sale ready for you. It's a really nice house in Hall's, close to the intersection at Norris Freeway and Emory Rd.
A three bedroom, living room, dining room and kitchen on the first floor, downstairs is another big family room and one room is a furnished Beauty Shop, and the garage. All of them fully furnished.
There's depression glassware, two sofa's and one loveseat, three rocker chairs, five occasional chairs, recliners, TV's, Dixie bedroom with bookcase headboard, dresser with mirror and chest, Vintage Four Poster bedroom with matching chest and dresser with round mirror, and all the bedding and linens and lamps and the Broyhill tables and Tell City Dining Room with 6 chairs and China Hutch, a short Curio and a large Curio cabinet, the kitchen table and brass finish with four brown chairs on casters ( quite nice & different), washer and dryer, stove, two refrigerators and upright freezer, all the kitchen items, Iroquoise China and Silver Flatware sets, cookware, serving dishes, stainless flatware, and so much more, two very nice chandeliers, (one being red depression glass bottom and I've never seen anything like it or similar to it)
Let me explain the chandeliers situation. You know that I want to sell them, but, the house is going to be for sale. The new buyers will decide whether they want them or not, and if not, they'll be sold. And I just want you to know that I'm pulling for you, so you'll get a chance to buy them.
We're shooting for working about three weeks and getting it ready for the first weekend in May.
I'm in the process of getting the pics ready and I'm almost thru. I'll send you some of the rooms before we started setting up the tables, and the table pictures will come later.
There's a house full of good quality furnishings. So I feel that if you buy anything, you'll be getting your money's worth. When one buys Broyhill and Tell City, Fridgidaire, and Zenith and the good quality pieces thruout the house, you can't go wrong.
Another note, the house has never has a dog or cat in it. No animals have ever been in it. So those of you who suffer with the allergies, no problem.
I hope you're all excited about this sale, getting the information without pics can peek your interest. (I hope) and even more so when you see them.
And as always, if you have any questions, please call me @ 865-389-3704.

Update 04-29-08
The sale day is almost here, it starts Friday May 2 and Saturday 3rd. The location is 7508 Cathy Dr. (in Hall's) If you are on Broadway and go to the Walmart, turn on Norris Freeway to Emory Rd. Left on Emory to the 2nd street, right on Cathy and it's the 3rd house on the right. You 'll see the signs.
As you know, we'll start promptly at 9:00 AM, till 4:00 PM both days.
There are some great deals there and some great furniture and household items as you've seen in the pics, and I've more pics for you today. There's so much, I could not put it all in the ad, but you can see a lot of items in the pics.
If you look at the head vase, it was taken in front of the mirror, so you could see around it, and it is in mint condition, and not a repro.
There's her cosmetology book and business permits and liscense, and the vintage Helene Curtis hair dryers.
There's a couple of old Hull pieces, and one of the African violets sitting on the dryer is in a good old planter piece.
The beautiful girl quilt and all the embroidered and crocheted pieces, this lady had done herself. Wait till you see the gorgeous 3 crocheted Table cloths. She did beautiful work. You would be proud to be an owner of any of her pieces. There's some awfully pretty embroidered pillow cases. There's also 4 patch work polyester quilts.
We have enjoyed getting this sale ready. We just came in and started placing and pricing and really appreciated the quality and condition of everything in the house, as I'm sure you will too, when you see it.
I might suggest you bring paper to wrap and boxes, since we haven't found any in the house to use.
We're going to be serious about emptying the house, the family will be putting it on the market. If you happen to be interested in buying a house, you might want to give it a close inspection. since we've been there, we have noticed how quite the area is and the basement is really nice with the bar and of course, the beauty shop could be converted to another bedroom, or someone who is a hairdresser could use it as is. It has a back deck out the dining room and a patio under it on the lower level and the landscaping is really nice.
Enjoy the pics,
Well, as always, if you have any questions, please call @865-389-3704.
AND most of all, May God Bless.
Thank you and we'll be seeing you Friday and Saturday.
Nancy
